Was your time so vital
and your conversation so important
that you would break the law
and try to slaughter another being‽

When I stopped for the young lady
who was legally crossing in the crosswalk
at 9th Street
on Cotanche\Charles next to ECU
this morning about 8:45 AM

and after I had been stopped waiting for
her to cross
you recklessly and with complete disregard
for her life and mine
swerved around me
to come near to running her over
while you continued to talk on the cell phone
and ignored my Steibel horn blasting at you

just so that you could earlier reach the
RED LIGHT
at Reade Circle
where you contined to talk on the phone
while you were stopped for a minute or more

Some day fate will return to you
what you do for others.
